Welcome! In a profoundly simulated world, every action has a reaction. Build your settlement, take care of your villagers, resources, production lines and the interaction with the complex environment.

How much will you intervene in the circles of nature? You decide.

Navigation

Press F1 to toggle a help panel

  • Move with WASD, arrow keys, or drag with the right mouse button
  • Zoom with the mouse wheel or Page Up/Down
  • Rotate the camera with the middle or right mouse button
  • Press ESC to close windows and open the main menu
  • F5 to save and F9 to load

Settings

To optimize your game for your individual needs you can find the Settings Menu in the Main Menu by pressing the gear icon. Some options which could be of use:

  • Display: Adjust the UI scale for a better view.
  • Camera: Modify camera rotation for your preferred angle.
  • Input: Customize keybindings to suit your playstyle.
  • Language: Change the in-game language in the 'Gameplay' menu.

Where to start

Begin by constructing homes for your citizens and workplaces to harvest essential resources. Pay attention to your people's needs and well-being, as well as the preservation of the environment. Every decision you make impacts the world, affecting your citizens' behavior and the natural ecosystem. Will you be a wise leader, nurturing your civilization while safeguarding the delicate balance of nature? Your choices shape the destiny of your people and the vitality of your land.

Bottom Bar

There, you have access to the most common functionalities such as:

  • Building streets
  • Remove Mofifications or Side Objects
  • Building Mode
  • Faction Data
  • Map

Faction

On the top left you can find the summed up information about your faction. It consist of Name, Level, Name of the current Map, citizens count, Information about the housing situation.

Press F or the two people in the bottom bar to open the faction overview.

There you will find the population data, stock levels and settings for the current map. With a Community Centre you can make further settings.

Ressources

In the top center you find all the gathered and produced ressources combined.

Time

In the top right you find the Time settings.

  • Pause or run the game with the spacebar.
  • Set the speed with 0-9 or by selecting one in the [top right bar in the UI.
  • Toggle the visual day night cycle by pressing the sun in the top right UI.

Main Menu

Also in the top right you can find the Main Menu if you click on the gear icon.

Journal & Diplomacy

Press J or the letter on the right to open the journal.

There you can find your active tasks, requests and your diplomatic status with other factions. You can also reallocate items or villagers to another map here.

Achievment

By clicking on the medalion icon you can open the Achievment Window. There you can find all achievments you can reach in the game.

Quests

Keep track of the quests in that scenario. They can provide valuable guidelines, especially if you're playing for the first time.

Environment

At the bottom right you will find various environment maps of your current settlement. By clicking on the right icon, the environment maps can be placed as an overlay on the current world. Press N to open the environment view as a window.

Map Influence

The maps are connected with paths for trade routes and animals. Also, water flows between the maps to the sea.

All maps are calculated in parallel, and each map can have different seasons and weather conditions. So, it can happen that if it rains on another map, you receive more water from this map from the rivers.
