Simulation Time

• There are 4 seasons, 12 months, but only 28 days in a year in total.
• There are 24 hours per day and 60 minutes per hour.
• 100 simulation rounds are calculated for every in game minute.
• this means 144000 discrete simulation rounds are calculated every day.

The values of the real world are generally mapped to the simulation time, whereby the seasons are assigned as follows:

• Spring: Mar - May
• Summer: Jun - Aug
• Fall: Aug - Oct
• Winter: Dec - Feb

For example real world Red Deer gestation time is around 245 days, which is translated to 19 in game days for the simulation.
