Of Life and Land's Twitch integration will automatically assign the names of your Twitch viewers to your settlers and animals. They can then control which emotes appear above their settler/animal. You can be distinguished from normal emotes by their colour.
The names are set when:
- A new scenario starts: It assigns names to all your NPCs and animals if possible
- New people or animals move to your village
- A child is born
The system will prioritise your own NPCs, but will also distribute names to other factions and even animals if there are many names available. Priority:
- Your own NPCs (it tries to always reserve 12 more names for your own villagers before moving down)
- NPCs from other factions
- Animals if you have more then 20 names in the queue
Instructions
- After opening the game, go to the settings and switch to the integration option.
- Enter your Twitch username correctly and press ENTER. The connection is now established.
- Users writing a message in the chat are now getting into the list.
- Start a new scenario (no save game).
- Attention: The audience must be active in the chat before you start the scenario, so that the integration notices them.
- Viewers can use commands to display emotes above their villager/animal. List of Commands below.
